Description
Two of the region's most characteristic grape varieties - Arinto and Fernão Pires - allowed to produce this wine with a light straw color and greenish hue, aromatic complexity with subtle toasty notes, and hints of orange blossom, pear, and stone fruit. It has a good balance of acidity with a citrus profile. Best served between 10°C and 12°C in a tall glass.
Soil Type:
Predominantly dominated by clayey limestone texture. Located about 6 km from the Tagus River, at an altitude of approximately 40 meters above sea level.
Winemaking:
Total destemming and classic alcoholic fermentation with an open spout in a stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature of 14ºC. Lot partially aged in French oak barrels from Tronçais and American oak from the state of Minnesota for a period of 6 months.
