Description
Variety of Castelão, Syrah, and Touriga Nacional. Deep ruby colour and a nose of aromatic complexity with spices, toasting, and red fruit. The palate shows freshness, slight vegetal notes, and a persistent finish. Serve preferably between 14ºC and 16ºC in a tall glass.
Soil Type:
Predominantly dominated by clayey limestone texture. Located about 6 km from the Tagus River, at an altitude of approximately 40 meters above sea level.
Winemaking:
Total destemming and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature at 26ºC, followed by malolactic fermentation in a batch aged in Tronçais French oak barrels and American oak barrels from Minnesota for a period of 6 months.
